Along the way, she meets a partner who is hiding his past, and a group of allies, each of whom has a reason to hate or love spring. Anime beautifully paints blooming landscapes, contrasting them with gloomy zones where life has stood still, and makes dance not an ornament, but part of the magic and language of the world. The series keeps us intrigued because the enemy here is not always a person, sometimes it is the idea that change is dangerous. Spring Dance is a story about hope that must not be waited for, but brought, and that renewal requires courage just like war.
